What is Marin YEP?
The Marin Youth Experience Project is the passion project of a civically engaged high school
community.
Initially started by students from San Rafael High School, the initiative now aims to fully fund,
plan,
and organize impactful field trips at Bahia Vista Elementary School–a low income and Title I
federally
recognized school. Working with school administrators and HeadsUp, the foundation that supports San Rafael City Schools, with this project we aim to facilitate
this school's first trip this spring to the Oakland Zoo. Help us achieve this goal and
help
these
children, for the first time, see in person the wild animals they have read about in books.

Our Goal
Our goal is to attempt to take the first steps in equalizing the vast educational disparity seen within
Marin County public schools. Through these trips, we hope to give as many children as possible the
academic resources they all deserve.
We Value Transparancy
we also like keeping things simple:
As of now, we have raised a grand total of $6,456.31. Below are all the references and receipts that make up our organization.
